i'm looking forward to seeing how those games run, should be very good.
i don't really know how to interpret the xBench results, but here is a page that shows the results of a
1GHz Titanium PowerBook. hope that page helps. here is a page of results for a
Rev. A 17" PowerBook Al. and one of the new
1.25GHz 15" PowerBooks running 512MB RAM.
because of the many different configurations of RAM, and the different versions of OS X (or maybe OS 9

) that people might be using, i think that would have some effect on the results, but i'm not sure how significant that difference would be. there's a
list of xBench comparisons that you should check out to get a broader view of the results. i hope all that stuff helps.
also, something i'd like to see, just out of curiosity, is a
PSBench 7 test with the advanced 50MB test image. if you've got Photoshop 7 that is.

it just runs a set of actions on the image and times it all. then we could compare it with the PSBench 7 results at
Chaosmint.com, althought they are for a G5 1.6GHz, there are some PC's results in there as well, so it should give us some idea.
Phatpat, you've been asked to do alot, hope your up to the task. thanks for being the ginuea pig!
