Just give it a quick lookover, if nothing seems immediately wrong don't go digging for problems seriously. You know that nothing in this life is perfect, as long as the phone didn't come bent, with a scratch on it, or a messed up button don't go digging for an issue because eventually you will find something. Just enjoy your phone.

+1 I couldn't agree more. If nothing stands out immediately then you should be good. Enjoy your phone.

I have just noticed a small white line half the way around my front facing camera. This is on the iPhone 6, anyone else have this? It's hard to see it on photo.

Well I'm sorry I paid almost $1000 for it so I wanna make sure I didn't get a lemon. For us peasants 1k is a lot of money.

Don't pay attention to the Albanian with the verizon sounding name. Look for these 3 that won't rotate. Email, photos and the browser. 8.1 fixed those. Good luck!

What's are some issues that a new iphone may have? I want to make sure everything is okay. I have noticed the whites on the screen are slightly yellow in hue compared to my htc one. Is this normal?

Look at it every moment of the day: at some time it will spontaneously start bending.

when i got mine, mine actually had some black spots on the screen that really bugged me, so when i went back to swap it, the first time they denied anything was wrong with it, the second time, the just changed it for a new one, and i can admit its much better, so i'd look for that, wasnt major, but i paid £619 for it so i expect perrfeeccttiiooonnn.

The issues you should look for are:

-dark band/yellowish band on top
-Yellow tint (I heard that 6 has them but the 6 Plus doesn't?)
-dust underneath the screen
-paint imperfection
-dead/stuck pixels
-backlight bleeding

No I don't have this problem. Book an appointment at the genius bar and have it checked out. Their level of service is honestly amazing and they'll take care of any issues.

Lulz peasants aww

Btw: word of advice.. You should spend time enjoying ur phone instead of wasting time looking for defects.

You might start having some envy over the Plus. So you will need to go on as many threads as you can find here and say how you love your 6 and that the Plus is just way too big to ever use or even fit in a pocket. You might try to use these tools to be even more convincing:

1. Say you went to the store to try the plus and you tried it in your pocket, but you couldnt get it in, not even a little bit.

2. Start a thread saying that you originally had the Plus but it made you start smoking again, you quit stopped going to church and were facing financial ruin and divorce. That you returned it for a 6 and now you are so happy and life is great

3. Mention that you know a lot of Plus owners and they are all miserable. You know some of them are developing carpal tunnel syndrome, rotator cuff problems, and tennis elbow.

4. That you couldnt find a Plus that wasn't bent anyway.

5. Describe how you could use a 2 finger hold to text, play a game, and make a phone call all at the same time with the 6. But you know an jellyfish that still doesnt have enough tentacles to use a Plus.

I wonder what happens when you buy a new car. How long does it take you to check everything? Do you check it yourself or do you have a shop look at it?

New cars often come with a 4 year warranty. The odds of not discovering a problem after about 4 years of use are very very low so I would scrutinize a new car much less.

If buying a used car, yes I would check it over and take it to the dealership for a report on its condition. But after buying there is no point in looking for flaws because there is no warranty or return policy.

I really don't understand people like you who suggest people who chose to go with the regular 6 couldn't afford the + or are somehow jealous of + owners. You do understand that the + is only like $100 more right? Do you really think someone who can spend that much on a phone would be troubled by $100 extra? If the + cost like $1500 or something you'd have a point but it doesn't.

I've noticed a lot of plus owners feel the need to make themselves feel special on these forums, as if their phone is significantly more expensive. The 6 and 6 plus are very close in price, and I HIGHLY doubt price is a main deciding factor for anyone deciding between the two models. I can afford whatever damn phone I want, I chose a 6 because it's a much better fit for me. I didn't like the 6 plus when I tried it, neither did anyone in my family. I get whatever phone is tempting me, and the 6 plus failed to tempt me.

The absolute worst case scenario if you actually want the + but can't afford the extra $100 is that you get the 16GB version which is the same price as the 64GB 6.

I also tried the 6+ and immediately knew I don't like it and went with the 6.

Uh. I never said such a thing. Did you quote the wrong person?
