i heard it wasn't available right away. just curious as i hear there is a lot you can do once it's jailbroken

if not, is there anything i can do to my phone that would be useful..or does it all require it to be jail broken?

Could be tomorrow, next week, next year, or never. All matters on what found.

If you need to take it to Apple, you can restore your iPhone to remove the jailbreak. Jailbreaks are generally easy to install.

You're an MR regular, eh? No, jb is permanent and if you take a jb device into an Apple store, their sensors will go off and your phone will explode.

The answers are; Yes. Correct. Yes, for anyone who can read.

Wow a regular who is obviously completely unaware of the search feature. You know we could use about 348 more threads like this...

All one has to do is search or go straight to the horse's mouth: the iphone dev team blog for what can and can't be jailbroken. http://blog.iphone-dev.org/ http://blog.iphone-dev.org/redsn0w-iOS5

Hopefully he's using someone else's account. Even Google could have answered these questions.

Oh she knows. How ever Apple has instructed her to lie about it.. :p Either that or she is just pissed at the other 100,000 people that asked her. Or it could be all those Easter Egg questions all day long..
