Just got my first mac ever what apps should i check out

hey everyone i just go my first mac ever, what are some good and interesting apps and widgets i should check out. Thanks for all the help

check out Mac Updates, has a lot of great, free apps.

Also Apple's Download page has some good stuff.

Inquisitor, NeoOffice, VLC, Stuffit, Perian and Flip4Mac are almost needed (unless you pay for an Office suite)
