I was actually just about to make a thread stating that I've had my phone for 11 days in a Ballistic case with Ghost Armor screen protection and have carried the phone in my pocket and my phone doesn't have a scratch and isn't bent...

That's what I get for investing $60 to protect a $1000 device.

Shame on me.

Damn, I'd take a hundred scratches over having to use all that ****. I got this phone because it's hella thin.

So why make the thread? You got what you wanted.

I'd rather have a scratch than those unsightly screen protectors or bulky cases that people use. It make a $1000 phone look like a $60 phone. When the screen is on you don't see the scratches anyway. Instead of spending the money on a bulky case and screen protector I'd rather just say $129 to get a new screen at some point. Plus even the "best" screen protector distorts the view.

I'm looking forward to my first scratch, then I won't worry about it getting scratched any more. Maybe I'll key it right now.

you likely got a cheap ebay one, get a glass one it feels like the glass screen its protecting

True I've never had a glass one, but I just feel weird about covering up something I paid a lot for that feels nice, and I worry about air bubbles

That's what's great about Ghost Armor.

They have a kiosk at the mall... it's installed by people that know how to install screen protectors (not me) with no air bubbles.

$25 with lifetime warranty replacement... So, in about 6 months when I start seeing scuffs and stuff on the screen, I peel it off and go in there and say "hey, my film is starting to peel off."

$5 install fee for "warranty" replacement... used it on my S3 and my 5s... and now my 6+. Never gotten a scratch on my screen. Ever. The film is about as noticeable as a contact lens.

Does the glass feel like a solid piece of material (or is it still very flexible and gel like, like invisibleshield)?

Does it feel just like the iPhone's screen?

I don't notice a difference. It's slick and smooth to the touch and there is no interference with the touch screen performance.

It's not a hard plastic... it's a high quality film overlay.

Love Nelson! I immediately thought of him doing this when I saw a guy not paying attention and being an ******* in his car as he swerved and hit the curb. The result was blowing out his front tire...LOVED IT!

huge DEEP scratch after falling 12-18 inches on a flat surface. Absolutely disgusted at the "scratch resistance" on this thing.

Kinda puts a damper on the posts from anti-screen protector people saying they never run protectors because the screens are scratch proof, doesn't it?

Well, the phone isn't bend proof but I don't have any bends...

I've never used a screen protector, and it's not because the screen is "scratch proof" it's just that if you take care of it you won't get anything more than "micro scratches" that no one can see unless they hold the phone at a certain angle (usually in sunlight) and have NO impact on use of the phone.

I also get to feel the screen as Apple intended me to. It's great, and well worth the small chance I might get a scratch that would bug the OCD crowd. If it IS bad enough, I'll just pay $79 and get a new one, but that would involve some negligence on my part anyway, not just normal use.

Much better not to worry about it. Besides, I have NEVER seen a "perfect" install of a screen protector. It always is either mis-aligned, bubbled, yellowed, or had a teeny tiny speck of dust underneath. Those would all drive me FAR more crazy than a scratch no one can see except under very specific circumstances.

SO glad I've gone naked for 3 years now. It's worth it.

Oh it's not literally glass?

Oh it's not literally glass?

Nope... I don't need something to prevent my screen from shattering... my Ballistic case does that. It has 6 sided protection... phone can't land on its face if I drop it.

The Ghost Armor is to keep it from getting scratched.

I keep my in a case with a screen protector. My phone would get destroyed pretty quickly if I didn't.

What's with all the hate?

If you aren't interested in what the OP has to say then ignore them and don't post. Try to at least pretend to be adults.

I wouldn't use a screen protector they all feel nasty. I've never once gotten a scratch I can actually see on my screen.

Wouldn't you be shocked that they make glass screen protectors, that looks and feels just like... wait for it... GLASS. No change in screen quality, sensitivity, nor how it feels, and it's protected.

Looks ugly though
