I loved my last leather case-Does it feel like it is pretty solid, or is it flimsy? I'm waiting on mine to arrive.

I have one for the 5s and it feels the same. I wouldn't say it is flismy. Definitely gives you a feel for the size of the phone though.

Thats great news-the one for the 5S was just perfect.

A few questions.

Are the sidewalls curved at all to match the curve of the phone itself?

Tough to say without a phone, but how far up the side of the phone does it seem like the sidewalls will come?

TIA.

can you take some more pics of the case for us? perhaps but whatever phone/ phones you or your friends have around in the case to show size comparison? I'd appreciate it! thanks! my product (red) comes tomorrow :D

which is great for those of us with expensive headphones that don't have tiny plugs.

But not so great if you drop it?

It think even Spigen have changed their designs for the 6/+, as they are now wider to accept "expensive headphones that don't have tiny plugs" and different makes of Lightning leads. ;)

Hoping those silicon phone condoms Apple touted will be available in store Friday. I'm guessing they won't since it says "ships in October" but here's to hoping.

Thanks for the info. My iPhone 6 case is out for delivery. Funny thing to get excited about but I am anxious to see it. I promise not to start a new thread for those concerned.

Case for my wife's 6 just arrived. Two things stand out:

-The product red color is way more orange than it was for the 5/5S case (which she has...color looks totally different and yes I realize that the older case is worn/dirty/darker).

-The sidewalls are curved and tall enough such that it looks like they'll wrap all the way around to the top/front of the phone and protrude slightly. So, it'll still feel curved in the hand though won't provide the smoother side swiping that a naked screen would provide.

don't drop it? also, the odds of it landing on that exact spot, and doing any damage, are slim. My current Thule case has an open bottom for 2 years without a scratch.

You don't say...

It's not an odds game though with a case for some people. Some people buy a case because they want ALL of the phone protected. I am one of those. I simply don't see the point of buying an open bottom case.

My wife was disappointed too... she puts her phone in her purse where it is more prone to getting rubbed by something than anywhere else. Undoubtedly something will find the raw metal at some point in there.

I don't think anyone is buying a case with the thought they are going to drop the phone. But, once again, this goes back to the aspect of full protection. If I am going to buy a case for my phone, I may as well get completely protection. otherwise I am happy just going case free.

If the case works for you, splendid! No reason to attempt to invalidate another person's opinion on why said case doesn't work for them.
