15" base configuration. Now I remember how I felt when I got my first Mac! :apple:

I got it from an authorised Apple reseller, brand new for $50 less than RRP, with a free case and they even cut $200 off the cost of the Apple Care.

So happy right now, this is such an amazing computer. Hopefully it turns out to be just as, if not more, reliable than my iMac.

Congrats! I bought mine 3 days ago and its sweet(switched from the whitebook:). I also got an 3 year no-matter-what guarante from my reseller(which means they will replace it even if i drop it on the floor).

I do have a question; I got iWork when I bought my iMac last year, technically I'm supposed to buy another copy to install on the MBP, aren't I?

If I remember correct, Technically you can completely un-install the copy from the old computer and use it on the new one... Usually the license is one at a time, not one time only.

Not really. Where did you get THAT kind of guarantee, if you don't mind me asking?

I got it from my country's biggest electronics store Big Bang(im from Slovenia).I have previous experience with them and they are great! The best part is, the guarante cost my only 100 euros.

Congratulations to you good sir, upgrading the RAM and HDD is never a bad idea!

Not wanting to be the guy who points out the obvious, but which model did you go with? I don't see the specs in your sig or post. :p

In any case, any MacBook Pro is a very good laptop. Hope you have fun with it
