Ive ordered the 40mm exactly like yours coming from the 38mm series 2. It certainly looks big, glad I didn't change to the 44mm.

that looks actually pretty big, i am a bit scared my wrists are super thin, i think i might have to take the 40mm version looking at your picture.

I think I may be more excited about the watch than the iPhone. But my day one original Apple Watch works for me.

I'm coming from a 38mm ss. Size feels good, I think the 44mm would havr been too big.

I got the 40mm and the silver aluminum. It feels weird coming from the SS, but hopefully it will grow on me.

It’s nice looking watch, but it looks huge on your wrist. The only thing I can think of that might backfire for some is if they don’t like the 40 mm size increase over the 38, especially for someone that has smaller wrists, it might look comically large. But the larger screen looks excellent with all the information displayed.

i have tiny wrists, sorry (not sorry). I got the smallest size possible as my SS 0 is on the way out.

Looking at this face (which I love), I totally wish they let us put the date above the time instead of taking up a the bigger complication spot.
