My 44mm Black Ti is syncing App data now. Nothing to report yet, but I'm sure I will like it. Went with a cheap 3rd Party (LDFAS) Ti link bracelet band and it's a good color and style match match. iPhone has to be on iOS-13 in order to pair with the watch.

... the watch ... not happy I cannot have the same watch-face options, I can't even have the closest face in the color I want; the color control on that face sucks and only changes a few element leaving most of it white. I have to say WTF, we customize the faces they way we want, why should an update make us choose all over again, I got new software I didn't want the face to change.... Unless I'm missing something I'm extremely mad at Apple for trying to tell me it's time to change my watch face.

... OK Calming down now... looks like I just have to go and download the face I want, only the new ones came pre-installed, and you have to go to the gallery to get new ones. instead of just getting them in the face selection panel. Forgot all about that, as I don't changes the faces often.

Jealous of the Titanium, I had a tough time justifying upgrading this year but AOD alone is nice. I like mine so far and battery actually seems pretty good so far. I ended up with an Al Sportloop 44mm.

I've just received my S5 (44mm alu) today and i just now checked and found out there is no compass app installed on the watch... anyone has any idea what could be wrong or how to acquire it?

EDIT: I've found it in the app store on the watch, thank you @deeddawg!

Weird, mine came installed on the watch. Did a small test of the compass and it seemed to work quite well. I think it will be useful, especially with some map apps to get oriented, but also with just hiking new areas. On first launch it did say that it could be affected by magnetic material in some watch bands, so something to watch out for.

Guessing you setup as a new watch vs. restoring from your prior watch's backup?

I restored from backup and it came up with the same watch faces with the same customizations as I had on my S4.

You're welcome

Clarification for other folks -- you have to have the stock compass app on your phone. I'm guessing if it's not there, such as if you'd deleted it - it doesn't end up on the watch.

Exactly! That is what happened.
