iPad Pro Just heard 11 inch iPad Pro 2021 no MLED.. is it true?

Nobody here can tell you if a rumor is true or not. You will have to wait and see what Apple releases. Try not to read rumors as fact.
I assumed it was due to the technology being slightly cheaper in a larger version or something. But if it’s true it could also be Apple's penchant for reserving the best features for the biggest devices.
You’re asking if a rumor is true, when by its nature it’s unknown. We are all whistling in the dark here. What we know is that the rumors talk-up the 12.9 a lot, and there’s almost no mention of the poor, lowly 11”.

I have no idea, I’m not familiar with mini LED, but most other display tech is always cheaper the bigger you get. Easier to do the tech with bigger pixels
I hope it’s not true. I almost prefer it to get MLED and become 50 EUR more expensive or something.

As you said yourself, a rumour. Not sure what else you were hoping to gain with the post?
I’m sure they will update it with it but maybe not this year. i don’t think mini led is a massive deal though. It will still get 5G and a14x plus maybe Touch ID

it's not cheaper, if anything it's slightly more expensive, but the reason is probably the same as Samsung, Apple has a higher profit margin on the 12.9 so it can absorb the price of mini-led more easily... (that's why Samsung put OLED in the 12.4, which is $200 more than the 11).
We don’t know that Apple is going to do this, but it has been rumored. If Apple does do this in reality, maybe they don’t think it’s worth the cost and/or effort to upgrade the 11” to MLED. I doubt that will happen. Apple will more likely upgrade both screen sizes to the new tech.
