I have a macbook pro with leopard 10.5, march 2008 model.
The leopard OS is great, but i need Tiger for my studio.
I heard that its impossible to downgrade from leopard to tiger on my
macbookpro with e.g a 10.4 universal DVD.

Can anyone confirm this?

If your machine came with Leopard pre-installed, Apple doesn't support downgrading to another operating system. It might be possible, but if anything happens, you are reliable.

You can't downgrade. The OS won't run as it has no drivers for your model. New models always come with a new OS version of a different build of the current OS.
