Just installed SSD and Mac won't detect it!

Hi folks

I have just removed my HDD and put in a new SSD. When booting Lion from USB, the MacBook only detects the USB stick and does not show that the SSD is installed.

The SSD is a 2.5" OCZ Vertex 2.

Please help!!!!!

Brilliant, just fixed it! Formatted the drive using disk utility, and hey presto!
