Hi guys, I just upgraded my Early 2011 17" 2.3ghz with a 512GB Crucial M4 + 16GB Corsair 1333 RAM. That went great, I plugged in my USB with the Lion install on it. I wiped ('erased') the new SSD clean and began an install of OSX. Everything was going as it normally does, until the part where the computer restarts. When it restarts it seems the computer doesn't boot to the SSD. It just sits there. So when I restart and hold down the option key and make it boot from the SSD, it thinks the SSD is the install disk and tries to re-install OSX...

I've tried going through this install, but it hangs right when it's trying to copy the files..

Any help?

When you get into OS X , go to System Prefrences , then go to Startup Disk , and select your SSD , and click the lock , that should solve it :) , good luck , Emma xx
