I've had my rMini for about 48 hours now. At first everything was great. The screen looked good, the speakers worked well, it's fast, easy to use, light, and pretty much does everything I expected. So today I made a fatal mistake and compared it to an iPad Air. On first inspection everything looked pretty much the same. The design, screen resolution, dual speakers, and even the processor. However on closer inspection I noticed the rMini screen was 1.8 inches smaller than the iPad Air's screen. I couldn't believe my eyes. How could Apple make such a huge mistake??? I thought they were supposed to be exactly the same. Apple you have lost me as a customer and I'm never buying one of your products again!!!

😛

Who has a bigger gamut! It's not the size but what you do with it. 😉

That's what she said, but she lied. 😛 A smaller gamut leads to all sorts of problems. If you have a narrow or smaller gamut, you should get that checked.

Seek professional help immediately, as an enlarged gamut can be life threatening. #

This has become a major problem - IPS

Irritable Pixel Syndrome. Alas with the gamut and screen size we'll never know how many holes it takes to fill the Albert Hall.

Wow! Ok! I had the Air first and I thought I just couldn't deal with rMinis lack of a full color palette. I purchased one anyway to see which one I liked more once and for all.

iPad releases always reduce the average poster IQ on this board by 100. There are so many useless threads such that finding any useful information is an exercise in futility.

At first I thought you were kidding, but I just measured my Ipad Mini-Original and it's no joke. The iPad-O appears to have the same problem. The screen is exactly 1.8 inches smaller than the iPad Air. I used a gamut to measure mine.....the most accurate measuring device known to man.....so it must be true!

One feature it is missing is a mute button for my wife so I could actually sit down and have ten quiet minutes to use it.

exactly and when there are threads regarding inferior color gamut issues, these moderators on MR throw it away yet threads like these runs rampant on this MR board.

you son of a b, you played me perfectly with that.

"I wonder what THIS guy's problem is"
"Hmm, what could have happened?"
"Wait, is he an idiot?"
"Oh my god he's kidding"
"I'm an idiot"

thanks for the journey
