Just ordered a refurbished MBP Retina as a secondary Photoshop/Aperture/future Lightroom 🙁 machine to my Mac Pro tower.
Please check the specs below and let me know what you think. Currently I shoot RAW files with 16, 22, and 40MP cameras.
Hope I made the right decision for my budget.
Thanks!

What specs? Did I miss something?

If ever in doubt about a purchase and you intend to seek the advice of others, it's really best to wait to order.

That said, I think that's a solid machine for the price. I just hope you aren't expecting much from the GPU because, while it is a dedicated GPU, it's not much better than the Iris Graphics in the rMBPs of this year.

I think 8GB fine. Even for huge RAW files in Lightroom and Photoshop CC + multiple layer editing. Faster CPU and I/O is more important than RAM.

IMHO with current workloads 16GB is only necessary when you do run virtualisation software.
