I was considering this case as well but am hesitant because the two hooks that hold the phone aren't aren't padded in any way and I'm afraid it'll scratch the sides/edges of the phone. Unless you have case?

The website said it won't scratch the phone so I'm not too worried. I have a case and screen protection also.

Youtube reviews said it could scratch but since your phone is well protected, doesn't seem like a problem. I've got a feather case on mine so the front glass is exposed. I ended up ordering this tonight. $30 shipped.

my only concern is from the looks of it, due to those hooks, it fits the ip4 naked perfectly which means if you have a case, it won't work. I like the bottom one with the arms. while it doesn't look as good, its more functional with the tilt and swivel and cheaper.

Yeah, missygal's stand looks a lot better, but the one I ordered is more functional (can rotate in all sorts of directions for better viewing angles). The Elago with the hooks will fit the iPhone with a case.

I ordered mine through newegg for 27.99 with free shipping. However, since I'm in CA, they charged tax.. It's cheaper than any seller on amazon right now.

Just picked up an iPad from someone so that my iPhones aren't lonely. I just ordered elago stands for the iPhone, iPad and MacBook Pro.

I also have the icooly for the 3Gs. I like it.
