well for starters, your computer will be much faster than my macbook at 2.ghz and 1gb ram. and it does all the things you want your machine to do except when opening and using apps like Aperture, Final Cut Studio, etc, it gets a little laggy. Anyway, your system setup should be plenty for your needs. the 4Gb ram is overkill to the 4th power. Startup time will vary slightly, a few secs at MAX. and bootcamp is good to go. I'm running it at 2.2ghz santa rosa and a 1GB ram with no problems and very speedy startup, xp or osx.

You don't have anything to worry about the difference in speed with daily work will not be noticeable because you have 4 gigs of ram.
