Thought everyone here might be interested in this. It's a 1.67GHz DSLD 15" Powerbook G4 A1138 in almost pristine condition. Aside from a small dent in the back there's not a scratch, dent, ding, scuff, or mark on it. Picked it up from its original owner with associated power adapter and original gray disc CDs (OS X and Mac OS 9). 1GB of RAM and the HD is reporting more than 80GB. Everymac does not list an upgrade to the HD but it looks to be larger (to my knowledge it has not been user upgraded):

According to Mactracker, your 15-inch DLSD was available with 80, 100 or 120GB, 5400rpm storage, or 100GB 7200rpm.
Good find!

Congrats! Anytime a DLSD crosses my way it is/gets prohibitively expensive so it has so far eluded me. Upgrading to 2 GB RAM and an mSATA SSD (in an adapter) will make the machine even more enjoyable.

Interesting that Everymac didn't have these options listed. I'll have to look at the model number to see if it's the 5,400 RPM or 7,200 RPM version.

I have no plans to use it, I picked it up so I could find it a home.

Everymac only displays the standard configuration and not the CTO options. I learnt this when I bought the 17-inch DLSD I’m using to write out this reply: it was OEM-CTO’d with the 100GB 7200-rpm HDD. The same applies to the 15-inch DLSD:

Incredible. I've been trying to find a 17" DLSD as it's one of my four "Golden Macs"-- the Macs that I gotta have-- but so much as even finding one is almost like finding a unicorn. In this condition too, you've absolutely won the PowerPC hunt. Hope you enjoy it!

If you're wondering, the "Golden Macs" are: a G3 Beige, a 17" DLSD, an eMac, and a Titanium PowerBook. I've also been interested in the G5 Quad, but that's more of a "Silver Mac", pun not intended.

@Doq A little off-topic, but I'd just like to reach out; you mention in your signature that you're looking for a 12" G4, presumably a PowerBook G4 12".

I actually have a 1.5 GHz A1104 PowerBook G4 12" that I'd be happy to give you. It needs a new DC-In board, and its keyboard has several keys missing, but other than that, it works well. I can offer you more information if you're interested. :)

Also, let's all love Lain!

Sure! Shoot me a message and I'll take a look.

No, I too actually won - I already have the manual and discs.
