There is an even simpler truth to all of it and that's huge phones are hard to handle no matter where you put the damn power button.Funny that people say the larger phones should have it on top too. It really is a poor place to put the button on large phones, as there is no easy way to turn it on when operating it one-handed. That is just the simple truth of it.
Lucky! How has it been going back to a 4" screen? I'm always inches from pulling the trigger but not sure about losing the Barometer and being stuck with the slow touchid again..
I know it's not a 2nd gen Touch ID but my SE feels much better than my 6 which was slow and unreliable. My 6s is noticeably faster than the SE but not by much. I was most worried by the Touch ID speed moving to the SE but honestly it feels much better than previous 1st Gens and so far no real-world downside compared with my 6s.
Not for nothing, but the TouchID on my plus was fine - I guess I'm not used to the new generation, so going to the SE, was not slower or faster when it comes to TouchIDI know it's not a 2nd gen Touch ID but my SE feels much better than my 6 which was slow and unreliable.
There won't be an SE2, the SE will last until September 2017 when the iPhone 8 comes out in three sizes starting at 4".I wonder if Apple will move the power button to the side when the SE2 arrives next year.
Having used one for an afternoon, it's also a change-up to be able to check the lock screen without unlocking the phone again. Could be considered a plus by many.I know it's not a 2nd gen Touch ID but my SE feels much better than my 6 which was slow and unreliable. My 6s is noticeably faster than the SE but not by much. The problem is not that the Power is on side....it's WHERE it was on the side. When you grab the 6 to press the volume buttons your fingers naturally goes to other side of the phone at the same spot, and to change the volume you squeeze the phone. They should have moved the Power button higher or lower than the Volume buttons.....I had an older HTC phone where the Power button was on the side at the bottom, and never had any trouble.
Nah it belongs there for larger phones as wel. I would love to have the button on the top of my 6s plus
