Just purchased Ipad w/8.1, impossible to JB?

Hi,
As title,
New Ipad Air2 installed with 8.1 - Pangu now appears to be officially dead (itunes and resources errors and no known fix that I can find) and Taig starts at 8.1.1
Is there anything I can do to JB this thing?
