I got the exact same laptop delivered yesterday and I am very happy with my choice also. I was unsure if I wanted the 13" or 15" but very glad I opted for the 15"

Just received and set up my 15" base config M5 MacBook Air (Midnight).
And I have to say: WOW, what a beautiful machine, what a monster!

I could imagine that this machine will serve me quite a few years...
I just received mine yesterday and I'm in love. It's fast, beautiful, cool, and the battery life is wonderful! I should've bought one a long time ago. I think I'll now keep my old desktop running Linux for the odd game or two and focus mainly on this.

Got mine on Thursday! I really love it but I'm disappointed with the gaming aspect. Just trying to determine if it's a problem with my setup rather than the machine itself.

Incredible performance from Apple Silicon native games like Cyberpunk but I just can't get 60fps with decent settings on Two Point Hospital which is mad considering Andrew Tsai was able to on an M1. Thing gets very hot very quickly too. Just seems odd for a 2018 hospital sim.

Would like to add I didn't buy a Macbook Air just to game on it! Just wanted an all-rounder laptop which I can occasionally play some older titles on. Certainly not planning to use it for AAA gaming. (Cyberpunk was just for testing.)

Update: Think the game is just not very well optimised for Apple Silicon. There seems to be a bug which limits the frame rate to 40 when v-sync is on.

I'm still rocking in a M1 13. Honestly I've seen that a store near me sells a brand new M4 15 (16RAM+512SSD). How is your experience regarding 13 to 15?

I just got my new base M5 MacBook Air, replacing my M1 Air.

While nothing can top my shock at the performance boost I got when I moved from Intel to Apple Silicon, this comes damn close!

It's so fast and light, and the screen is gorgeous!!
