Just received my two iPhone 6 Plus's. They are GIGANTIC!

Had my 6 plus since launch day and I'm loving it. Sure it's big but I got used to it and the screen is glorious!. Congrats
Yah I know what you mean. I've had my plus since launch day. Picked up my old 5s the other day, wow it's tiny. Today I've been thinking I made the wrong decision going with the plus. The wife's 6 seems much easier to manage. I can't even make up my mind. Lol.
I still havn't become accustomed to the 6+ since Friday
That's not a bad thing - might just not be for you. I had a note 3 for two months and couldn't wait to get rid of it! To each their own!
I like the screen size but those damn bezels are just disgusting. I went and tested my Plus against a Samsung Note 3 today at FutureShop and the Note 3 is less tall because Samsdung has smaller top and bottom bezels. I don't know why but the slight difference in height makes a huge difference holding each device. The Note 3 seemed way more compact and easier to handle even though it's slightly wider and thicker.
I'm not going to lie. I liked that gold trimmed Note 3 better than my iPhone 6 Plus. I can only imagine what the Note 4 will be like. But I hate Android.
I wish Apple was able to make this hulking beast of a phone lighter and less tall. It would make all the difference in the world. Right now, this phone to me is far less than perfect for this reason and more.

I am a huge fan of the 6+ but unlike a lot of people it really doesn't matter to me if others enjoy it or not. I think you are doing the wise thing - putting it through some cycles. If you don't like it after a week do an exchange.
If you do exchange, please don't use that as an opportunity to start bashing the 6+ like some are doing. It's a choice, not a religion. Let everyone enjoy their own choice.
2 reasons I will probably keep the 6 plus despite its size.
1. Battery life. Excellent. Get a full 10 hours of "real use". I don't count standby time. Doubt the iphone 6 battery can get 10 hours real time use
2. 1080p screen vs 750p screen. At the end of the day. 1080p is better than 750p. There is a difference. It's like back in the days 720p TV vs 1080p TV and most people say 720p is good enough for HD. True. But 1080p still looks better
Obviously my 1440P LG G3 is sharper! But don't think 1440P is ready for mass consumer use. Just look at all android apps. Very few apps optimized for 1440p.

I put this in another thread, but while the LG G3 is sharper (I have one) the contrast is quite flat. I did the same adjustment as most to give it better contrast, but then colors lost accuracy. It's a nice screen, but I prefer the iPhone 6+ tbh. The LG G3 and iPhone 6+ are heads and heels above the Note 3 and Moto X that I also still have sitting here for comparison.
I don't know. To be honest the 5S has a better look and feel to it in my opinion..

Oh I know, the 5/5S does feel nice. Sold my 6 Plus today and looking to pick up a 6 and give that a go.

Yeah, except people saying the Plusses are selling for several hundred to several thousand above retail are definitely wrong. lol
Doing that now. Verizon is offering me a great plan deal to stay with them. Getting a brand new space grey 5s 64gb and returning the 6. I can't get over the size, slippery form factor, and the crooked text on the back (don't want to play the return game).
....and I think the 5s looks and feels more premium. I gave the 6 almost a week to convince me. Feels like a damn Samsung phone.
I carry both the LG G3 and iphone 6 plus. True about what u about the contrast. LG G3 doesn't look as vibrant as iphone 6 plus. But the G3 is certainty sharper.
I just love the form factor on the G3. LG made great use of the screen and smaller form by moving the power button in the back. Wish Apple would consider moving the home button to the back as well in the future to shrink down the size of the 5.5 inch screen.
I preordered through the online Verizon store. I called customer service to ask about what charges I would incur if I sent the 6 back and cancelled service, and they just kept offering me better and better options to keep me as a customer.
