I was worried when I pre ordered it and made the cut out to try it out I really thought I might be swapping for the 6

After using it since last Friday I have adapted to it really well and the size doesn't bother me a bit. Really don't see myself going away from this large screen and my battery life is truly ridiculous. As soon as I get my leather apple case it will be perfect.

I carry both the LG G3 and iphone 6 plus. True about what u about the contrast. LG G3 doesn't look as vibrant as iphone 6 plus. But the G3 is certainty sharper.

I just love the form factor on the G3. LG made great use of the screen and smaller form by moving the power button in the back. Wish Apple would consider moving the home button to the back as well in the future to shrink down the size of the 5.5 inch screen.

You are dead on about form factor, BUT to be fair it is a part time 5.5 inch screen. Part of the reason the form factor is so small is part of your screen is dedicated for navigational buttons. I know you can get rid of the buttons per app, but the swipe to bring them back in can be even more inconvenient. So for someone that is nothing but full screen media it is definitely a 5.5" screen, but for someone like me that was in apps like Facebook, twitter, 500px, etc it isn't a true 5.5" screen.

Same with the Moto X btw. I call them cheater dimensions :)

Edit: Also don't forget that the LG G3 has a horrible over sharpening problem with text too. Swap your background to anything beige or gray and you'll see it with all the text on your home screen. Also any webpage with gray or beige background...I almost took the phone back just for this alone.
