Just recevied my new iphone 7 plus

Just received my new iphone 7 plus from the apple store in Stratford
The payment options were delayed as the Barclays system kept crashing but it eventually went through. Luckily I booked for the 2nd earliest appointment at 8:45

Just restoring backup now

First impressions are that I liked the mechanical button better but I suppose I will get used to the new one
feels like my old 6 plus, looking forward to edge to edge screen on the iphone 8

However the faster cpu, bigger battery, 3gb of ram and mild telephoto lens is exactly what I need . looking fwd to using this beast!

Looks great! Enjoy it! About the camera, I'm curious how good it is and personally, I think the plus camera looks better than the camera of the smaller model.

doesn't appear to. I am using an ESR glass screen protector so this might make the screen slightly different from a naked one

I have noticed that iOS 10 seems to like yellow and green font and box shadows and edges, so that might be why you see it

It's apparently a thing with most people that have gotten them, hoping mine doesn't look piss yellow!

actually I am sitting in a high building in canary wharf. Funnily enough if I go down floors the signal gets stronger .. the ground level signal is great

I was a worried I had a faulty phone.

So I did the standard techie thing, and switched the phone off and on. Now the camera is fine. Wierd ...

The screen really is that vibrant in person. It was the first thing I noticed once I set my 7 Plus up.

The phones were all sold out, so the queues were only for pre-orders at booked times. So they moved initially quite quickly as apple had plenty of staff on hand.

However the interest free and upgrade program credit check system obviously couldn't cope. The guy in the store kept getting a "unknown error" when he tried to submit. Basically I was waiting 15 minutes extra for him to keep clicking the submit button until it went through

After me I think the queue was worse as this issue was effecting many buyers and causing delays

Thanks for the update, this was predicted to happen with all those credit checks hitting the servers at once.
I'm going to try and reserve one tomorrow at 6am with the hope of picking it up on the same day.
