this thread proves one thing for sure...some people here don't read. they see one or two keywords and think they have read the entire post.

I don't know what this thread proves but I think people don't read the entire posts.

My thought on those that return perfectly functional iPads, aside from having a bit of OCD, is maybe the iPad isn't up to their quality standards and maybe they should look at other devices. How about writing letters to Apple. I don't know. Just a thought.

While browsing the forums and I saw the title of this thread, I thought, "You have got to be ****ing kidding me."

Then I read your post and laughed. :)

I just went back to the Apple Store after returning my 5th user. All of them had screen issues. One swore I was slightly yellow. One swore I was slightly pink. One claimed there was a micrometer-wide dust mote in the lower left corner under the glass, next to the bezel. One suggested I had uneven lighting. This last one kept trying to turn my brightness all the way up while locking himself in the closet and viewing a completely black image.

There is definitely a quality issue with these new Apple users. I think the manufacturer may need to revisit the QA process.

Ha Ha Ha!!!

I saw what you did there!!!

You can laugh but there's something to all of this.

Really, at first I thought that these kids were nuts. But i've come to realize that if Apple wants to sell a product that can only really benefit people with good vision, and people who are very meticulous about this sort of thing, they had better expect this sort of extreme scrutiny.

Extreme specs, will warrant extreme scrutiny.

My eyes could give a ****, but if I had better vision perhaps I would also be only willing to settle for what is advertised as a visual experience, for discriminating tastes.

I approve this message. Where I tried...you succeeded. A "regular" member that signed up in 2002...I applaud your patience sir.

Stop it. People who return 5+ iPads have no need for encouragement, they're insane already.

Most the users need to get a life and stop centering you entire life around your iPad. If the iPad cost that much for you to buy that it makes it THAT important, you likely should not have purchased it in the first place.

Rent and car payment should be first

No; it has to do with where the pink and green patches are located on the reader's iPad screen. Sometimes whole lines are unreadable....lol.

Not sold on iPad developing a conscience. Maybe iPad 4, definitately not this one. False advertising.

Yes that's true, they are hopelessly insane. But I want to be positive, as it makes me feel good.

And I want to feel good about me! :)

(you can vomit now)
