the only thing apple can do is release something like above to beat sam this time ,,,, ....

Samsung has killed it this year as much as I hate to say it. Apple has quite the expectations to meet next month. Samsung is having itself a very good year while Apple has had a poor year hardware wise. The Note 7 looks fantastic but I'm hoping Apple knocks it out of the park for the iPhone 7.

i cant believe smsung climb over apple if this year iphone 7 release same as rumors leak -'

apple so quite this yrs what going on ????

3 more weeks event = nothing excited yet

I do think the new Samsung are beautiful and possibly functional (touchwiz has hurt me so badly in the past it's hard to go back).

That iPhone mockup is terrible though

i am boring using ios now
sometime lag too also my iphone hot when background apps run and i have to turn off and turn on

dont know why and my iphone 6 plus ios 9
and lazy to go apple store find out

apple not like before just feel use whatever it take and soon move to
diff company like samsung or lg ,

The Samsung Galaxy Series brings great innovation and quality, but the interface is still just so cluttered and painful. If only the UI was redesigned from the ground up, I wouldn't mind switching. Right now, Apple has the more attractive ecosystem, interface, and practical features.

If you are not necessarily tied to the Apple ecosystem (ie. Macbook, iPad, Apple TV, etc) then maybe it would not be a bad idea to try something new. I am not a fan of android operating system in general, not because is worse than iOS in any way, I just am used to iOS and like it. But I am confident we pretty much know what Apple will release here in a month. If you have the means, give the Note 7 a try perhaps? You may find that you enjoy it so much that Apple becomes an afterthought. Or conversely, you may find that beneath that alluring exterior is an overall package that you don't care for.

You do know OP, if you haven't noticed by the mock up that you have just above
, where are you going to hold it without hitting the icons

I care little about aesthetics. I care much more about hardware and software function.
I am the opposite, which is why I will not buy the new 7. A whole lot of fugly there.

That said, Apple's customer base neither cares about aesthetics (there's a reason Ottorbox sells and it's NOT because it looks good!) or hardware/software.

They care about ease of function and if their phone can do what they want it to do. Apple hits those marks almost every time.

Not only that, but it's a mockup of the iPhone 5 series (5/5s/SE). Almost three iPhone versions out of date. Other than those into the SE this is not going to attract anyone.

Here we go again... Same non-sense year after year.

Samsung has been doing a great job recently

This is the first year I have seriously considered the note 7. I have a 6s, 6s Plus and SE In my household. So I went to a local T-Mobile store and decided I would try out the S7 edge since the Note 7 has a lot of influence from that phone...

Screen is absolutely amazing. The phone is super fast... touchwiz while still there is not as bad as it once was... I remember TouchWiz on the Galaxy S4 made that phone absolutely unusable. Needless to say Samsung has absolutely stepped there game up and I honestly believe they are trying to kill everyone else in the smartphone game ... Apple included...

HOWEVER... as I stood there and dove deeper and deeper into the phone ... I was getting more and more impressed ... until I realized there was things that were missing. Stuff that I've been used to since 2009... while TouchWiz is not near as noticeable as it once was... it's still there and as long as it is ... it will make a Galaxy absolutely much more difficult to use...

TLDR: An iPhone will always have something going for it that other smartphones DO NOT!!! EASE OF USE!!! As members of Apples user base... that's what we want... Samsung doesn't have that!!

All that said these new Galaxy and Note devices are absolutely gorgeous with absolutely magnificent screens!!

Practically every year, I buy a Samsung device (either a note or their flagship).
After a few days / weeks of being slightly intrigued, there are nagging things about the Samsung line that bother me. Last year, it was the disastrous battery life on the GS6 / EDGE, the way processes would just lock up because of Lollipop, the obtrusiveness of touchwiz, and the list goes on. To say that Samsung devices start to suck after use is the largest understatement in the world. Especially in the Android world because there are far better Android OEMs not many people pay attention to.

That said, much of the same here. That isn't to say that Samsung is promoting itself better because it is. It's not to say Samsung has a better product than apple (from sheer hardware) because it does. However, the apple ecosystem keeps me coming back. And let's be real. OSX's continuity features, texting from multiple devices, makes apple an easy decision. And it's things like that NO android oem has replicated.
