and when i called they told me not to send the battery. Why the heck wouldn't they want the battery? I sent it in due to the random shutdowns that apple has recently acknowledged, plus a few other random issues. What if one of my problems was due to a faulty battery? They could never diagnose it if i didn't send it in. So i sent it in anyway. Now i must admit, i am a little nervous that i may not get my battery back. Anyone have any experience with this? EDIT: Basically, im not trying to get anything out of this post. Just letting you all know that I can officially be added to the list of people that didn't have there problem resolved by applecare. The good news, they said if it still happens after my next repair, they'll just give me a brand new macbook (which will probably have RSD as well....but anyways.....).
