I wouldnt even count on it with the iPhone 5 either.
If the new iPhone is going to look like what they say it supposed to look like, I think I'd rather get the iphone4. I like the way it looks rather than the tear drop look.

I just sold my 12month iPhone 4 32gb for 460 euro in preparation for the iPhone 5. I'm using an old nokia n70 and my iPad 2.
I was expecting a September release but now all the rumors indicate October!
If they don't make an international release ( like iPad 2) then we (Europeans) are really %%#@&$!
Damn I'm so tempted to buy a sgs2 with 500euro brand new but I'm gonna regret it so ...
Ps anyone believes that a combo of sgs2 and ipad2 can work or it's stupid to have both iOS and android?

I have been considering doing the same.... I bought a 1st gen iPhone from eBay a couple of months ago to use for a back up phone... I been wanting to use it , but scared the edge speeds will bother me if they take longer than October to release the phone...Idunno
I've just sold my iphone 4 to put funds aside for the new iphone. I managed to sell it for £320 which isn't too bad for a 16gb thats 14 months old and has no warranty.
I'm now using a nokia 1661 and looks like I will be for at least 2 months (hoping the new iphone comes out soon!)

I made it 5 weeks without my 3GS. I went back to my old Samsung Jack after breaking the screen on my 3GS.
I gave up on the Jack today and just got a screen protector to hold the glass together on the 3GS. I'd rather have a busted up 3GS than that damn Win Mobile POS.
Can't live 2 months without my iPhone 4, or I totally would be doing the same thing. Power to you, brother.
Probably not going to sell mine until after the 5 comes out. Last year i got $300 for my 3GS.. so it only cost me 20 dollars in taxes for the iP4 32gb
