Just upgraded to ATI 5870 from ATI 5770! Driver for windows question.

Wow I just installed it and I can tell a big difference even under OSX! Now to install some games! 😀

Now THIS speed and performance feels like a Mac Pro!

So should I install the ATI driver that is provided with my Mac Pro or download a new one from ATI?

Get the latest drivers from AMD/ATi

Get the latest drivers from AMD/ATi

I did it on my older MP, but never on the 2010 MP. Just initial installation and then software updates. Never had an issue with the drivers / card in such a way.

ATI also sends out driver updates monthly, so watch for those 😀
