Just used Apple Pay at McDonald's.

Used it at our local mcdonalds in tampa fl, no problem at all. I also used it at walgreens it was flawless. Cashier was even excited when i used it.

Ugh. The people at my Walgreens are so jacked up. The customer behind me was fascinated with me using my iPhone. The flamey cash register clerk was too busy exclaiming how "Android phones can do it too", that he wasn't paying attention to what he was doing and over charged me. I had to loudly interrupt him, "Um I don't think that this total bill is correct!" To which he was all flustered and exclaimed how he hates that "they're always pricing items wrong!" And he then rang up the product for way less than it was supposed to be.

Going to go use apple pay to buy some apps pies.

Someone beat you to that joke: :)

"I first took Apple Pay for a spin at one of Apple's named partners for Apple Pay, McDonald's. Ordering an apple pie seemed nothing if not apt, and once the clerk rang it up, I touched my iPhone 6, still in standby, to the touchless terminal, which looked like it was a few years old.

Immediately, the screen lit up on my iPhone with both the credit card icon and an indicator saying Touch ID was required. I put my thumb on the sensor and, after a couple of tries, paid for the apple pie instantly.

It felt pretty cool, so I did it again. Soon I had four apple pies (and a somewhat bemused McDonald's worker) on my hands."

Soon we will have threads about people using ApplePay at McDonalds, followed up by having to go to Walgreens for Tums and toilet paper. :D

Our Wendy's doesn't have any terminals, you still have to hand your card to the cashier. What do their terminals look like?

They all look different but they have the telltale sideways wi-fi logo. The devil at my local Wendy's looks like this.

The can't afford anywhere nicer.

Hey nothing wrong with that. You don't have to pay $50 for a meal when $5 can make you feel just as full. McD's isn't the best place to eat no, but it's damn cheap and it's everywhere and they help stimulate the economy by having tons of jobs to offer.

I agree with what you're saying, but it's also worth noting that home cooked meals tend to be cheaper and can be significantly healthier (and thus even cheaper in the long run)

I am shocked that people still eat and Micky'D or at least admit to it:D

I'm honestly suprised to see so many people say this same thing you do all the time, on forums and IRL. Why not? It's been a staple fast food resteraunt in our lifetime and it's not like it tastes gross? It's definitely not good for you but neither is most fast food but it still tastes good and it's cheap!
