Got mine yesterday. It did arrive in black.

So far pretty happy. Great case to lightly protect the air 2.

Suggestion

The bottom lip of the case does tend to get in the way of pushing the button. Not a big deal but if they could make a small "U" shaped cut out right under the button it would make it easier to use.

Just a thought

Here are pics of the case

The back of your case looks wrinkled like mine was. It was not form fitting at all. Leather stretches so I didn't see how this could get better over time and returned mine. There is something not quite right about the fit and the leather was just too thin for my taste. I had to manipulate the cover to get the magnets to turn my ipad on and off as well which was another negative.

The pic make it look a lot more wrinkled than it is in real life.
Personally I like the fit and the minimal aspec of it. It feels like a quality leather and leather only stretches if it has a force excreted on it, so I'm not concerned it will loose the tight fit

I have a thicker case that is the hard form factor for when I travel with it. I don't think I would be comfortable with just the leather for travel.

Bottom line I'm very pleased.

KAVAJ Berlin REAL leather iPad Air 2 case … AMAZING !!!

Very happy with this case. The KAVAJ is a winner. Everything works, is thin but protective. Lightweight. Video explains all. I have the Berlin. They have other styles too.

I received my a week ago and very satisfied with KAVAJ. I first bought the Snugg and was satisfied with that but decided I wanted real leather even though the Snugg would serve its purpose. Very happy with KAVAJ and I'm a person who pays attention to detail and durability it's well put together and stitches are top notch. I got the black leather case FYI. Recommended A++

Can you guys comment if the bottom border interferes with touch ID? What about trying to swipe up from border for control center when in landscape?

Those were my minor issues with first AIr case.

The border is pretty close to the Touch ID sensor but it works good. I don't know about swiping on the right since I mainly use mine in portrait orientation.

They are nice cases if you're into leather.

It works fine in landscape mode. There is maybe an 1/8" or so and enough to pull up the control center.

It looks nice only thing holding me back from getting it is those huge leather flaps over the bezel. I wish it had some type of clips don't like how that looks.

That logo looks hideous.

I agree.

I agree with this too. In all honesty the case just looks cheap and the fact the bezels are covered with leather would be a deal breaker for me if I was looking for a case like this.

You wouldn't feel that way if you had one. The enclosure design keeps it thin and light. Lighter than the Apple case, and the leather doesn't discolor.

What I like about the bezel border is that it gives it a better grip when it's open.
This case is the opposite of cheap.

Is that case really meant for an Air2?

Those photos aren't doing the vendor any favors.

The corners, cutouts, stand flap and stitching look crude, the leather looks like cheap vinyl, and I can imagine how much dust gets trapped under the bezel skirt. It also looks like it covers the light sensor.

Did I mention the crude stitching? Looks like it was done by hand. By a street urchin in a Kabul back alley. A 10 year old orphan with a two pack a day smoking habit, a crippled hand and one eye, with an AK74 carried muzzle down, with a carry strap made of the same pleather looking leather.

Not a good look.

Case looks fine to me and from the reviews the leather is excellent quality.

Ha! Got an axe to grind this morning? Enjoy whatever case you have, but don't disparage ours unless you have held one.

Yes, it is for the Air 2.
No, it does not cover the twin light sensors on the top left and right.
It is really leather, fine quality. Product is from Germany.
No dust under the flaps.
Stitching is fine quality.

Rave reviews on Amazon.

Your comments are doing you any favors. Neither the case nor the stitching is crude. Sounds like you aren't very familiar with leather products.

Agreed. I have ordered the Air 2 version, but I had the Hamburg and Berlin for over a year for my Air and it was awesome. I've gone through several cases including a couple in the main case thread and nothing has approached the build quality and leather finish of the KavaJ's.
