    Hi,

Still relatively new to the Mac world, and just wondered if there was any apps (or dashboard widget) to monitor processor load, speed (I guess the new i7's support some kind of SpeedStep).

More for curiosity than any usefulness! :D

    Cheers

    Stewart

PS If this should be in a different section, please feel free to move!

Activity monitor (in your utilities folder)
    istat pro (dashboard widget)

    Both are free

I like istat menues (not free) but resides in your menu bar

I'd say Istat menus or istat dashboard widgets

MenuMeters does the same thing and is free (it used to be my go to, but I liked the looks of istat menus a bit better).

True though the presentation of istat menues is much better. I have tried menu meters in the past
