Hi Guys

I just ordered my first AW, I went with an AW4, I found it on Costco's website. They had a silver 44m (GPS only) with a white sports band for 299. There are very little left but occasionally they will show up on their website. they will occasionally also have a 44mm space grey with gps and cellular with a black sports band for 379. I got the 44mm silver GPS only. ITs not my first choice for color but for that price, I consider it a good first trial for the AW to see if its worth upgrading down the road.

I got the 44mm S5 for $384 before Christmas and that price seemed to crush everyone else's. $299 is crazy low. I'd buy to the limit and drop them on Ebay if I saw that price.

You’d be taking a greater hit on price on eBay, prices aren’t very competitive, especially after the holiday season. I’d actually consider Swappa in terms of resale, far more lucrative.

Welp I got my silver case/white silicone strap 44mm S4 (GPS only) yesterday. I immediately got applecare+ and a case cover. All in I paid about 410, not bad I think. I am liking it so far, and time will tell if its practical for me.

Paranoid I’m going to ding it or crack the screen. What’s the general consensus on this forum about watch cases?

Those bumper cases work, I actually see quite a few of them in the gym. What you have to be cautious of, is they do trap dirt/debris underneath them, so you have to remove it once in a while to clean otherwise that can cause a reaction with the metal/damage it.

In Terms of aesthetics, I don’t like bumper cases, as I think it takes away from the look of the shine of the stainless or aluminum, but some users would rather have the added protection _versus_ the aesthetic lock.

I’m coming from a G-Shock so I was pretty brutal with my watch and it showed. I’ll try the case for now and try to clean it regularly to avoid trapped Moisture, oils and debris From reacting with the surface.

I agree it doesnt look as nice. Growing up my old school hard working poor/frugal Asian parents always covered All of their nice things to protect them or worse never used their nice things to avoid damaging or wearing them out. I guess I take after them in that regard haha

Of all the people I've seen wearing an Apple Watch, I have yet to see one using a case on it. A few have screen protectors though.

well now you have😁

^^^^ OK, that doesn't look too bad. It does make it bulk out a bit, but that's probably livable. I have an S5 that I haven't opened yet, and I've been debating putting something on it to protect it.

I agree with the other poster, that doesn’t look bad at all. What brand is that and where did you find it?

The brand is PZOZ, and I found it on amazon. My fiancé has the AW3 and she bought it when they first came out. She likes my case and told me cases now are a lot nicer than when she first got her watch. Its really thin and enough to protect light dings and probably more. It has a screen protector incorporated too and a 1.0-1.5 mm raised lip around the screen.
