My macbook pro keeps deciding not to boot greeting me with the spinning apple logo! I try repair the disk to no avail! This means I keep having to restore from time machine.

Any solutions?

The first thing to do is to diagnose the source of the problem. I suspect you have a dying HD. Do you have a bootable external drive to test with?
Have you tried running Disk Warrior on the drive from an external HD or the DW DVD?
It may be a motherboard issue, have you taken the compter in to have Apple check it out? Worth a shot if you are close to an Apple store.
HD prices are rising now, but it may be best to buy a new one and reinstall the system and use you TM backup to restore your data.
