Bought one for my wife last February. Its runs great and looks nice and clean.
There are always updates, and the computer you bought will never stay on top for more than 6-12 months. Even if you pony up the cash for a high-end MacBook Pro, there will be a newer one out with bright and shiny new features that many can't imagining living without.
I agree with Philosopherdog. If the MacBook Aluminum has features you feel you truly want/need, pay the restock fee or sell your white MacBook and put that money into a new purchase. Only you know for certain that the extra money will outweight the warm fuzzy joy you feel with the newer MacBook.
I sometimes wonder, though: How many people break in their recently-purchased computers by browsing the Apple store with buyer's remorse?
