The white iPhone will be a great test to see if it truly is a hardware issue (obviously it is) because most likely they're going to fix the antenna problem itself.

Pardon my ignorance but why was the white iPhone delayed again for? Like a specific reason?

So what happens when the white iPhone 4 comes out and it doesn't experience any antenna issues? Do us early adopters get screwed or what?

They are timing the software "fix" just right for the white iPhone 4.

Wouldn't the fix mean a new FCC filing and bring even more attention to the problem for apple? They change the hardware even slightly in the white iPhone they admit that the black one is defective.

Very true. Not to mention they sold more than 1.7 million black iPhones.... It would be a huge headache.
