Just wondering if you’ve kept the default wallpaper your device came with. For some reason I haven’t changed it this time around.

Nope.

But this is the longest I've kept this wallpaper…

I switch to the all black wallpaper, and that’s what I keep. The icons are already pretty busy looking without a background. Also, with the OLED display it looks like the apps are floating in space

I always use the default wallpaper for all devices and OSs, it’s like the “signature” of the device/OS release. I’ve tried customizing in the past and always got tired of it, but the stock wallpaper always feels like it defines the system for that period. It’s a piece of history.

It’s like do you change the system sounds and icon sets for your Mac? No you probably don’t. Same logic here. But options are great obviously for the majority of folk that want it.

Same here. There are some amazing wallpaper artists out there but it almost became an addiction and I would change my wallpaper sometimes several times per day. And my photo library was almost impossible to manage. Default is great. I live the live wallpaper on the X.

I have this thing about wallpaper on my phone. I have a folder full of favourites (nearly 100 total) and I get bored and change it usually multiple times a day. Some of my favourites do include default iOS wallpapers. In fact, new wallpapers is what I most look forward to with iOS updates! :D

It was never an addiction for me. Just a search for that one wallpaper that spoke to me. Haven't changed this wallpaper or other walls on other devices for a very long time now. Simply because I found what I wanted. But it's never been the default.

With that said, I wish Apple wouldn’t delete default wallpapers on new phones. Like I wish we still had iOS 7 wallpapers. Yeah I know we can download them but it would be cool to have the whole collection in the stock settings.

I agree 100%. As I said above, I actually look forward to the new wallpapers that come with each update, but every time I’m also sad to lose favourites from the previous generation. Every stock wallpaper ever should be available on every iPhone. It’s not like they would take up a lot of space.

Yes, I did. I kept my original iPhone6 wallpaper into my iPhone 8plus device.

To me, it just looks so cool. So I kept it. I was wondering I was the only one. :)
