For work I have to update a number of files (Excel, Word, etc.) a number of times each day both from my MBP and my iPhone. I am a MobileMe subscriber so I have access to my iDisk but I'm not to efficient with it. What's the best way to keep my files up to date at all times so I can access them from both devices and see the latest changes? As of now I'll open the file on my MBP, edit it, save it to the desktop, then drag it back to my iDisk.

I'm sure there is a really easy solution and I'm making this too difficult.

On a side note - would the Backup program help with this? I run a backup of all documents every couple days but I'm not really sure what that does. Thanks

i'm in the same boat too.
Download file from iDisk
Open it on my desktop.
Edit.
Upload it again.

Too many processes for my taste.
Any chance to directly open files in mobileme ?
(i don't want to use iDisk syncronization option)
I'm looking for a solution both on Mac and Pc world ...

Can't you mount the iDisk as a drive then save directly and open from it?

If your internet connection is ok there shouldn't be a lag.

Works fine for me.

At work were we manly have PC's I jsut mount idisk as a netwoek dirve and then woeks fast too.

(a few months ago it wasn't so responcive, but apple must have done some work.)
