Well the AOD has stayed on every time I've tried it today while charging my watch. So turning the AOD off, then my phone and then turning them back on again seems to have worked. So thank you again.

Just an update if anyone has had the same problem as me.
A couple of days ago the problem started again. But I realised that I'd installed the latest update the evening before. So I tried switching AOD off again and then my phone and switching them both back on again and it worked.
So maybe it resets itself after a new update.

I don’t have an Apple Watch but I do want to find a way to keep the AOD always on on my iPhone 14 Pro. I keep it in a charging cradle next to my bed at night so I want it to ALWAYS be on in AOD mode but the screen always goes blank during the night. Is there’re actually some way to get this to really be a AOD? I was actually really excited about this AOD feature as it would be perfect for a bedside nightstand clock.
