Anybody find it's hard keeping it clean, finger marks, blemishes or if you place it down anywhere? I find I just clean it and it's as bad as ever again? 😱

It's hard to keep it from getting grimey after some use, but I am amazed at how just a light wipedown with a microfiber cloth makes it look like new again. You don't have to put much elbow grease into it to get it cleaned off.

Agreed. I clean my idevice with a microfiber cloth every couple of days and they look great. If the smudges are really bad i'll add a drop of water.

Use iklear and keep their micro clothe handy. I applied Ghost Armour to my Pad, and that helps reduce fingerprints and smudges a lot.

1. Wash your hands thoroughly before using the iPad. I recommend using dish soap.

2. Don't touch the iPad. The capacitive screen will actually sense your finger a small distance from the screen. Practice getting as close to the screen as you can without touching it, then move half the remaining distance closer. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. 😉

3. Use a stylus when you don't need multitouch. Keep the stylus clean.

I clean the finger smudges off every few days with a microfiber cloth + LCD cleaning liquid.

If you are using it in direct sunlight, there will be always some smudges that you will see from my experience. Using it in a darker room it's so much less noticeable.

Are you serious, that just sounds bad. Lol

I agree, that really is a bad idea.

Personally, I use a nice mix of Clorox bleach and hand sanitizer. Also, here's a nice tip: if your home button ever gets a little too hard to press, or "squishy", just slather some mower oil on a rag and rub it in. Works like magic. And if you use your iPad without a case, try some sand paper on the aluminum. Keeps the surface from being so slippery in your hands.

Hope that helps guys!
