Keeping the screensaver/background from coming on?

I wanted to use the "Maps" (standard iPhone app) for some basic driving directions during my trip and noticed that I can't seem to find out how to de-activate the screensaver/background from coming on - is there a way to change that in the settings?

Are you talking about Autolock? If so, set it to NEVER.

It is somewhere under Settings (don't have my phone handy).

sweet, done, i'll probably just activate it for long trips anywho.
