Ever since about 6 months ago, my macbook seems to have the fan running loudly most of the time. Following this is usually a kernel panic error, which gets extremely annoying.

I even recently bought a bamboo frame with fans for my mac to sit on, however i am still geting at least 1 panic a day.

Does anyone have any ideas of what I should do?

If you have an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Repair Shop and still have warranty, go there?

Or do you have the opportunity to backup your data and reinstall Mac OS X?

Wow, this thread is ten days old and still was on the first page of this sub forum. Must be some lousy traffic here.
