Since the end of October, I have been having kernel panics almost nightly. I have dismounted any external drives, and any internal ones that I don't need. I disabled time machine b/c I thought maybe that was doing it.

I can't seem to find any information on this "hfs_UNswap_BTNode: invalid node kind" variant, but my suspicion is that it has something to do with a disk or something since its "hfs". My machine is a 2008 Mac Pro running Yosemite 10.10.1. My main drive is a mercury accelsior PCIe SSD.

What I would really love to know is what hfs_UNswap_BTNode: invalid node kind means.

Have you done a "Verify Disk" in Disk Utility? Did it find any errors?

    Help!

Does anyone have any idea on this? I have taken out every internal / external drive except my boot drive.

This error seems to have something to do with Endian Swapping Routines ... I have no idea what that is. Anyone?? Is this swapping in terms of memory swapping?

Because the error seems to be file system related, I would say that its probably not memory / other system hardware related ... am I right in this assumption?

There is almost zero information on the web about this particular error

Where do I go from here? The problem occurs more at night than in the day time. It doesn't normally happen while I am using the computer. It panics while its sitting idle in the middle of the night (but not always).

I can't seem to isolate it to anything.

HELP!! I'm pulling my hair out.
