Hey gang,
I'm in the process of replacing the HD on my (early) 2008 Macbook Pro. I bought a SSD and a docking station and made a clone of the drive using carbon copy. After the copy was complete i shut down my computer and restarted holding the option key and selecting the external drive. It looks like it is going to load then i get this error code :
panic(cpu 1 caller 0xffffff800a3bd725): process 1 exec of /sbin/launch failed
Can anyone shed some light on where i went wrong? I'd like to test the drive and make sure it boots before i take apart my MBP and swap the drives.
I'm using the latest release of OSX Yosemite if that makes a difference
