just got my first kernel panic in over 3 years.

writing an email; screen blinked, went black...and the infamous mulit-language window.

anyone else? was hoping that mavericks would continue (or improve on) the incredibly stability i enjoyed on mountain lion.

anyway, just reporting.......

Yes, happens for me when I'm typing..hope it doesnt reboot on me now as I type this.

Very annoying. On my iMac 2009, called apple and told them Mavericks broke my 4 year old machine and I want them to fix, they say I have to pay 20 bucks to open a troubleshoot session. F*$#& that!

It's not just old macs - My 2012 rMBPS has had 3 kernel panics since I did a fresh install a week or two ago.

Uninstall the appropriate applications, and remove the kernel extensions manually, if the uninstaller does dot remove them. Then install a Mavericks compatible version of the software, and only if really necessary.
