Kernel Extensions and Reduced Security

I need to install a Driver (for a Steinberg audio interface) that requires Reduced Security to install a Kernel Extension.

Fair enough, but do you know if I can restore the system to full security after installing the driver, or whether for the Kext to run I will need to keep it permanently in Reduced Security mode?

It needs to be kept at reduced security. Since you have to explicitly authorize each addition, it is pretty safe as long as you pay attention.
