Kernel panic and internet sharing

My macbook air early 2015, experiences kernel panic whenever i use the internet sharing function. i already reformatted it and it is still happening. Could this be a hardware issue?

If it only panics when using sharing and everything else works, I highly doubt it is a hardware problem.

Provide more info on your current macOS version, the type of Internet Sharing you are setting up, and the external devices to which you are sharing (and their OS version).
