Hi,

I have a 2020 27 inch Retina 5K iMac with Sonoma 14.6.1.

Recently I have started getting kernel panics directly after login, where my machine suddenly restarts, I get the "Your computer restarted because of a problem screen": and then most of the time the subsequent login works ok (occasionally this happens a 2-3 of times before I can log in ok).

I get the following problem report, but I'm not overly familiar with how to read them so not quite sure where I should start, it looks like we're possibly trying to launch something on login that is failing because of some missing file? Google seems to suggest that this file is no longer available in more recent MacOS versions so I am thinking that this might be maybe some remnant of some old software installed on my machine which is causing the issue but not sure quite where I can look to see what's going on and how to fix it?

Can anyone help?

Just a guess, but what login items do you have installed?

Seems to me these would be loaded as the login process begins (i.e., just after you've entered your password).

Could something there be mucking things up?

`/usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib` should be part of the dyld cache. I don't think there's any way to manually recreate the shared cache anymore, it should be part of the sealed volume? I'd recommend reinstalling the OS from recovery (this should not wipe any user data since the two are effectively like separate partitions, but you should take a backup nonetheless especially given you're already seeing some sort of FS corruption)
