professional music producer here. Base model Mac Studio M1 Max monterey 12.5 (shipped with it, i havent updated), interface plugged in, midi keyboard. two monitors, one on HDMI port one on usb c >displayport adapter. Also external samsung T7 usb C ssd for my samples. usb2 powered hub for interface and mouse and keyboard.
been using this mac since launch with zero issues until i started using Kontakt by native instruments much more often. Now randomly when using kontakt my mac will freeze, screens will go black for 5 seconds, monitor (the one on HDMI) will flash pink/magenta and then mac studio will kernel panic and restart. the full report starts with this(what could this mean?):
