Hello,

I am working on my trusty old Powerbook G4 with OS X 10.5.7

Lately I have been having issues with mounting images. Whenever I mount an image file, I get a kernel panic.

I am also having issues with USB Mass Storage devices. Whenever I connect a flash drive or hard drive, they will be recognized in system profiler but will not be mounted automatically and there is not much I can do to use them until I reboot the computer.

I have tried mounting images from the terminal and disk utility, but they both result in the same issue.

Can anyone help?

Google seems to be failing me on this one because of all the hackintosh issues that people have.
